This expansive industrial facility, marked by its bold black-and-white pixelated façade, harmonizes large-scale operational demands with a striking contemporary identity. The facility’s sweeping rooflines and robust steel frame accommodate high-volume storage and efficient circulation, while clerestory glazing and polycarbonate sheeting maximize daylight penetration, reducing reliance on artificial lighting.
The design integrates administrative, warehousing, and dispatch functions under one coherent roof, streamlining operational flow and minimizing environmental disruption through sensitive site integration and terraced landscaping. The entrance, defined by clean concrete forms, corrugated steel cladding, and vibrant red branding elements, offers a human-scale threshold into the complex. As a pivotal hub in Mr Price’s supply chain, the centre fuses architectural expression with functionality, positioning itself as a future-forward model for sustainable and efficient distribution architecture.
