Project Summary
Located in the heart of Congo, this dynamic soccer stadium emerges as a bold architectural expression of sport, community, and context-sensitive design. The grandstand structure is defined by a striking cantilevered roof supported by an exposed steel truss system, offering generous shade to spectators while articulating a light yet robust profile. Vividly coloured seating in reds, aquas, and yellows not only infuses the venue with vibrancy but also reflects local cultural motifs and regional energy.
The design incorporates a modular building language, where projecting volumes clad in metal panels and vertical timber slats balance modernity with material efficiency. Perforated façade screens provide ventilation and visual rhythm, while integrated landscaping softens the built edges and reconnects the facility with its natural setting. Functionally, the stadium includes secure access routes, shaded viewing terraces, and multipurpose rooms—all seamlessly stitched together in a way that celebrates movement, inclusivity, and the spirited rhythm of African football.
